Airsoft Tournament

On May 27, we went to Paintball Command in Mandeville.  It was AWESOME!  The entire place is huge. Each area is set up for a different type of match.

                            (note these is not my videos so there might be a few curse words)
           

         When the video starts, I'm the 4th person from the left, and yes that was a boy with a pink gun.  I was part of the blue team.  We had to rescue the rangers from the downed black hawk while fighting the Somali pirates.  I was one of the rangers attacking the Slaughter House (codename for the Somali base). In the end, we rescued the people from the chopper and we won!

         

In this round, our objective was to plant a bomb up against the castle which was held by the red team. We got the bomb within 50 feet of the castle, but we couldn't get close enough to plant the it before the time ran out. If you listen closely around the 26:40 min mark,  you can hear my dad yelling "bang bang," which is what you yell when you are close up. It's the equivalent  of shooting someone.

Marksville Hunting Trip

I made two trips to our camp in Marksville this year and I made my first crosbow kill on a doe and she weighed 140 pounds and I killed my first compound bow kill on a 9-point buck and he weighed 215 pounds.

Lego robot

I was playing around with my Legos and my brother challenged me to a competition to see who could build the better robot out of legos alone.  Obviously I wasn't about to turn him down because I am extremely competitive.  So 2 hours later we brought back our bots to see who had done better.                                                                                                                                           

My robot has hip, knee and ankle joints and shoulder, elbow and wrist joints.

 The chaingun isn't finished but it will be soon.

Airsoft smart charger

This is my new battery charger that I got since I broke my last one.  It is amazingly powerful, I can charge my battery from empty to full in 45 minutes.

Double birthday

Connor here.
My birthday party was Oct. 1st and it was awsome!  One of my friend's birthday was a few days after mine so we decided to throw a double party.  There was more than 20 people playing airsoft plus parents and siblings so we had at least 40 people. 
   I'm going to try to name every one in the photo below but since it was a double party I don't know every body and I might not spell their name correctly so I'm just going to put an x for their name if I don't know it.  left to right:  x,x,Quennt,Sarah,Matthew,Kenny,Joel,Andrew,Nick,Brenton the other birthday boy,me Connor,Jackson,Cole,Eli,Matthew,Jacob,Travis,Charlie.  Some people were not here at the time of this photo and they are not in the others but there were several more kids than these.

Cicada

Jacob here, today my brother found a live cicada on the playset in our backyard where we find lots of cicadas.  My mom took a photo and a video.

hunting trip

Connor here, I just went bow hunting in Hondo, Texas with my dad and some friends at a place called the Quatro B ranch after the four owners, Boazman.   On the first three days of the trip I saw all kinds of animals around my stand: Audad rams; pigs; Axis, Fallow, and Whitetail deer; Red stag; Donkeys; and Zebras.  On the last day of the trip I shot a porcupine and my dad said he was going to have him mounted!  It was the most fun hunting trip I have ever been on.

Assassin's Creed for DS

Jacob here.  I just wanted to give a review of my new Assassin's Creed game for DS.

It's a pretty good game but it is kind of difficult.  Your main objective is to assassinate the leaders of the Templar.  The main weapons that you use are a sword, hidden blade, poisoned knives, bombs, and a crossbow.  You also get to pickpocket, interrogate, and use a grappling hook.   Two downsides are that there are tough opponents and tricky obstacles.   Probably the toughest and most annoying opponents are the knights which are just hard to kill and the archers which are easy to kill but annoying because when they shoot you, you get moved back several feet!

Jacob's airsoft gun case

Jacob here. I just wanted to show how I store my air soft guns. This gun case used to belong to my pawpaw.

 Here is a little info about the air soft guns in the picture:

the pistol is 380 fps [feet per second]. The shotgun is 355 fps.  One of the things I like about it is the clip because all you have to do to reload is turn the clip upside down pull back the spring and shake it.

My new airsoft gun

Connor here.  I just got this airsoft gun online and I wanted to show everyone how totaly awsome it is. It's a Smith&Wesson m&p 15.  It shoots 450 fps with 12 gram pellets, fires 15 rds. a second on a full charge, has a 300 round metal gearbox, a 6 position stock and an adjustible hop-up system.  I got a sling for it too.

Vacation

Connor here, sorry we haven't posted in over a week, but that's because we were in Florida for a wedding and we decided to turn it into a vacation and spend the week at the beach.  It was probably the best vacation I have ever been on.  We were practically on the sand and there was hardly anyone nearby.  We caught dozens of crabs and two starfish, we also went play putt-putt golf and feed the alligators. On the way home we stopped at Blackwater River and went canoeing and finaly made the last leg of the journey home.
